Here I am with my very first blog posting thanks to Blogger.com. This was incredibly easy to setup. After thinking I would have to ditch my current hosting provider, install my own blogging software, and convert my entire site from ASP to PHP, I found this little site and in literally a matter of minutes, I was up and running.
I really don’t know how often I’ll post to this site. I want to use it as a personal tool to look back on some of the things I have done and some of the thoughts I have had. Whether anyone will read this or not, I don’t know, but it’s no more of a waste of space than my old site used to be, so away we go.

Well Doug, good luck. I’ve done the blogging thing for going on four years, and every time I’ve tried I’ve failed. I keep it for a few weeks and then realize that I really don’t have that much to say. Certainly not enough to justify a blog. But if you wanna be like all the cool kids with their fancy blogs and their “check out my blog, it iz teh r0xxors!!11!” chat, more power to ya.
