Mark Cuban… ever heard of him?

Brief bio: Co-founded Broadcast.com, sold it to Yahoo!, made billions, then bought the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks. (He is also the entertainment genius that brought you “The Benefactor” last season on ABC. No, it didn’t get renewed.)

Cuban is most well known now for being one of the most controversial NBA team owners in history, piling up a total of more than $1 million in fines, mostly for controversial statements against the league and its referees. Although he brings attention to the game he loves, his antics are most often looked upon as childish and foolish.

Say what you want about the guy but he does a great job of putting things in perspective in a recent blog posting.
