Anti-Highjacking Auto-Pilot

Technology is cool. In most cases, technology provides us with a myriad of ways to make our lives easier and more convenient.

I just read this article about a technological enhancement that may make all of our lives safer.

Boeing is developing a new auto-pilot system for planes that once activated, cannot be deactivated by anyone on the plane under any circumstances. If anyone tries to take over a plane, the system kicks in and ground control pilots the plane to a military airbase or commercial airport.

Seems like a good plan to me.
